With the headlights it has a "face" now. Cars just never seem to have that complete look until you have the headlights in.
We spent the day wrapping the exhaust with white heat wrap...that took all day.
The heat wrap adds to the "mummy" theme from the shift knob I guess.
The hinges are on, putting on the doors and deck lid are next.
Pretty soon it will be interior time.
Won't make Goodguys in Ft. Worth this year though, I am kinda bummed out a bit by that.
Should make the LA Roadster Show next year...WOO HOO!

The 6x2's are off right now, had trouble getting it to run out the gate.
Gonna run 2x4's for now.
Thinking of adding hood top at this point...one piece with louvers.

Got my 1986 '57 Fender P-Bass Reissue refinished in Plum Crazy Purple to match the Goofy Grape.
The color is impossible to reproduce in a photo, it looks too blue but make no mistake this is a Chrysler purple!
Man, I have to admit it is loud in the looks department.
I love it, but it is a love it or hate it bass in this color.
The gold pickguard is 1957 correct and so are the covers and thumb rest.
Plays like a dream and is strung with flats.
I dig it, even if it is a bit on the wild side.
What do you think?
Here she is with the rest of the "fleet."
